Bogota, Colombia, 1977, lives and works in Bogota, Colombia.
His photographic work is executed with a creative use of fish eye lenses. In the last twelve years he has explored urban and natural landscapes developing a unique visual language. Conceptually speaking his work is the result of two defined areas: One has to do with his interest in Magic and the other with Contemporary Reality.
He captures esthetic experiences from the different places he has traveled with this intention, take the photography to a perceptual and immersive scale. At the post production he recreated imaginary places based on the precision of sacred geometry.
He has participated in many individual and collective shows in galleries, museums and art fairs, with works in private collections in Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Argentina, Panama, Brazil, United States, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain and Japan.
In 2017 he gained an honorable mention at “The 77th International photographic saloon of Japan” and he was selected “Art Olympia 2nd International Open Art Competition” in Tokyo, with adquisition of his work by the Living National Treasure Museum, of Yugawara, Japan.
In 2018 he has been invited to participate at “The 74th Art Festival Genten” organized by The Japanese Contemporary Artists Association, in The National Art Center of Tokyo and The Municipal Museum of Fine Art of Osaka where he participated with three of his artworks. One of these artworks was granted the award of the “debutante Artwork” of 2018.
He was also invited to partipate at “The 23rd Art Mirai International exhibition” at the The National Art Center of Tokyo in Japan.
